Talk The Talk, Walk The Walk
Amy Roucka raked her fingers through her hair, listening to Vanessa Dane drone seemingly on and on and on. She had supposedly wanted to get in some interview before the match drew near, so being the absolutely sweet and innocent young woman Amy was, she whole-heartedly agreed. Ish. Now standing there, eyes glaring at the brunette beside her, Amy let her hands rest at her sides, lips slowly parting as if she was about to say something but didn't know what. Eventually, she let herself tune back in to what Vanessa was saying, finding it better she knew what the question was, rather than look like an idiot on TV in front of everyone.

"Now Amy, you just recently joined the AWS rankings alongside names such as Sadie DiPietro and Ash Dubois, do you think your so-called "newbie" status here will lead to an advantage or a disadvantage in your match this coming week with the veteran Anna, who has displayed tremendous amounts of skill since first coming to work with the company?"

"Y'know Vanessa, that thought has really crossed my mind before, and let me tell you this, it would be a complete advantage to my match and any match. I mean, look at it this way, a clean slate, no nasty rumors being spread to tear me down, no one really in the company besides a trusted few and no horrible win/lose streak. May I not know how Anna works? No. I honestly know next to nothing about the girl, but from what I DO know, it's nothing as impressive as you make it out to be. I mean, sure, she may have SOME skill, but have you looked at her? Do we really want people like her running around running the place and ordering people around and hell, even carrying a title? Do we really want that? What kind of rolemodel status is that? Oh yeah, it's perfectly fine and dandy to have cotton-candy colored hair and be a bitch and look like a social reject who's too stubborn to accept defeat. That's where so many people go wrong these days. They're too goddamn stubborn."
Vanessa nodded her head like a good interviewer and reporter and held the microphone close to Amy's lips. This made the blonde smirk almost triumphantly. Well, at least they were at least semi-professional here. Once Amy was all through, Vanessa raised an eyebrow, speaking into the microphone herself once again.

"Well, rumor has it that you're not so giving-in yourself and that you've actually tangled with a few of the wrong people thus far in your AWS career..."
Amy laughed, flipping her hair back over her shoulder and shaking her head. She grabbed the microphone from Vanessa, the other woman's hand still resting on it, and looked back at the camera.

"Oh, is that so? Is that what everyone's saying behind my back? Already, huh, wow. Well, let me let you all in on a little something. My state of mind is vaguely this, never back down. If you let someone else see the fear in your eyes, they're going to take advantage of it. If you let someone walk all over you, they're going to take advantage of you. If you back down and let people know you're easy picking, they're going to take advantage of you and it and you'll never be in control of your life again. Do you really want that in life? I would sincerely hope not. Now, y'know, people backstage may have been making assumptions and causing shit with me, and because I stood my ground, I get penalized. Adorable. Really mature, guys. You're almost as mature-like as Anna looks. She's got that whole punk-rock look to her and she's got that attitude, but there's absolutely nothing to back it up. She's a whiney brat who bitches if she doesn't get her way. I mean, have you all seen her try to manipulate her husband into having a family? Uh, yeah. No surprise there why he denied the attempts and offered a puppy. I'd take a dog over something that came out of that skank any day."
A small silence followed as Vanessa attempted to take the microphone back from Amy, only to have it ripped out of her hand all-together. Amy shoved the brunette aside so that the camera could only focus and see her. She put her free hand on her hip, the other raising the microphone to her glossy lips.

"Alright, now look. Anna, you can stand there and scoff at every word that comes out of my mouth, but you can't deny it without lying. You know as well as everyone else that I speak absolutely nothing but the truth. Just ask anyone and everyone I've ever faced. I don't make up lies. I do my research and my homework and I work hard to stay as fit as I am and keep up with the chicks who think they're worth something in this business. You want to come back into the ring and go up against someone like me and Sadie and actually think you have a fair shot of winning, think again. It's really nice to have that state of mind, but not when you're doomed to fall victim to two Vixens who know what they're doing. Just because we're blonde, new and drop-dead gorgeous does not mean we're dumb bimbos who don't know anything besides laying on our backs. So if you would so kindly tell people to stop spreading false shit, I'd very deeply appreciate it, thank you."
She smirked, giving a tiny wink to show that her last sentence wasn't exactly true but it wasn't exactly false. She shifted the microphone over to her other hand, pursing her lips while brushing her hair out of her dark eyes.

"And another thing, you have to keep in mind that this match can either make or break any of us. Me, Sadie, you, Anna. We all have something to prove. Me and Sadie have to prove that we belong here while you have to prove that you STILL belong here.... that you haven't lost your touch since leaving. I highly doubt you'll make it through the night alive, but hey, all the best of luck. Just remember that you can't change your past, and as much as you may want to erase certain things from it, you can't. I'll always be here to remind you of your fuck-ups, as if your life wasn't on huge one already. But enough about that. I'll see you in the ring, and you BETTER bring your A-game if you plan on making it through the night unscatched."
She dropped the microphone carelessly on the ground, her smirk growing all the more as she looked into the camera. With a small spin of her heel, she was out of there and down the hall. No one ever said she had to be nice, especially not to Anna. There was no road she wasn't willing to go down and there was no path she wasn't willing to take. She would do everything and anything to win tonight. No matter what.
